In the Business Journal regular section about the best stories from kansascity.bizjournals.com was the announcement of Specialty Fertilizer Products moving its headquarters to Park Place. 

From the article:

“The company, also known as SFP, has headquarters in Belton. In December, it will move the headquarters 23 employees into 12,199 square feet in Park Place Aubrey Building, under construction at 116^th Street and Nall Avenue.”

“Melanie Acklin, a spokeswoman for the privately held company, said the company is entertaining many more clients, and the Park Place location will afford plentiful nearby hotels and restaurants to accommodate visitors.”
